The biographical information is from Wikipedia. The widespread use of the Wikipedia biography, which contains some false and dubious claims and has repelled some of my attempts to correct it, underscores the need for a more accurate short web biography. Stay tuned. | 12 October 2006 Lettre de Savitri Devi à Saint-Loup (Marc Augier), 23 September 1967 | 3 October 2006 The Archivist will be traveling from October 3-11. German Translation
Brief an Miguel Serrano, 28. März 1980 | 17 September 2006 Savitri Devi’s Forever and Ever, Chapter V., “1932” | 16 September 2006 Savitri Devi’s Forever and Ever, Chapter IV., “1929” | 14 September 2006 Spurious and Dubious Section Added to Literature Page The Archive is adding a new section to our Literature page for articles that contain outright lies and disinformation about Savitri Devi, such as the anonymous essay “1949: Prophetess of the Saucers,” which combines quotes from Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke's biography with wholly fabricated claims that Swami Satyananda believed that the homeland of the Aryans was at the South Pole and that Savitri believed in flying saucers. We will also include articles that make dubious claims about Savitri Devi or draw dubious inferences from her ideas. Finally, we will include works that are simply in bad taste, such as a very disappointing poem by Constantin von Hoffmeister. We would prefer to ignore such works, but they have to be included (1) so we can identify them for what they are, and (2) because they document Savitri Devi’s cultural reception. Finally, we should note that the creation of this section does not imply that the rest of the Savitri Devi literature we list contains no spurious and dubious claims and inferences. Quite the contrary. But some of these works deserve careful critical review and analysis, while the “Spurious and Dubious” section is reserved for works that need not be taken so seriously. | 11 September 2006 Savitri Devi’s Forever and Ever, Chapter III., “1923” Just another day at the Savitri Devi Archive . . . The earliest manuscript is For-Ever and Ever, a collection of sixteen “prose poems” on Adolf Hitler and National Socialism written in 1952-53. Until now, only the final poem “1953” and excerpts from the poem “1945” in letters from Savitri to George Lincoln Rockwell were known to have survived. The next manuscript is Hart wie Kruppstahl (Hard as Krupp Steel), a book on Germany and National Socialism written in 1961-63. Until now, only the book’s outline and Epilogue, translated by Savitri into English for George Lincoln Rockwell as “After the Deluge—We!” http://library.flawlesslogic.com/deluge.htm were known to have survived. The third manuscript is Tyrtée l’Athenien (Tyrtaios the Athenian), an historical novel begun in 1963 or 1964, stopped in 1968, and perhaps resumed in 1979, but never finished. Until now, only a typescript of the novel’s first 48 pages was known to have survived. According to Archivist R. G. Fowler, “One of the chief aims of the Savitri Devi Archive is to bring to light Savitri’s lost works, but we never imagined such success so soon. The archive went online only on 8 April 2006. We are immensely grateful to the friend of Savitri who contacted us, first and foremost for preserving these manuscripts, and also for making them available to us. We will put these manuscripts online in PDF form as soon as possible.” | 11 April 2006 Defiance E-book of Savitri Devi's Defiance (Calcutta: A. K.
